In an effort to achieve the County’s vision to “provide quality, cost-effective and customer focused public services in cooperation with the community and other governmental entities to promote a prosperous environment for our citizens through a comprehensive and inclusive approach to economic development, public safety and justice, education, general government and the public’s health and well-being.” The Board of County Commissioners established five task forces, which will involve the input from various key stakeholders throughout the community. These taskforces will examine issues that will benefit from a collaborative process, and make recommendations to the Board of County Commissioners on these matters.  The task forces will address each of the following subject areas:

Economic Development
Education
General Government
Public Health & Well-Being
Public Safety & Justice
